What does Jalgos mean to you?

Jalgos to me is a place where I am made to feel welcome no matter how often I go I am always welcomed with open arms.
To lose Jalgos would be heartbreaking not just for my family but for everyone who has ever set foot over the threshold.

My eight year old summed it up best when she said home and family. Jalgos for me is a home from home for all of the community. I have been living in England for the last ten years and I have never felt more at home apart from in my own home than when I am in Jalgos. I am amongst my own people. My other family.
